Max Cooper
Max Cooper is a London-based electronic and techno music producer who has been releasing music since 2007.
“WAVE” is a no lyric song of Max Coopers’s “Emergence” album which was released in 2016. He started working on an experimental science project to see how science, music and visual arts could link together. “Emergence” which was defined by the artists as ‘the story of natural laws and processes, their inherent beauty, and their actions to yield the universe, us and the world we live in’ is one of this experimental result.
Most of his musical images show the scientific concepts and the combination of music and science.
Letter formation with a brush tool
As it is a combine project of science and music, the visual for the cd cover was created with some logical theories in between. The wave pattern on water surface is similar to the movements of a rhythmic music and also a scientific theory of forming waves by the wind. Waves are created by the friction between wind and surface water.
